Does anybody know if you sell an item over $250 using the Global shipping program, and use signature shipping it to the US shipping center, would I be covered under Paypal's protection policy?

Hate to say it but you might have to call them on that. This shipping program is still new and some people are trying it out. My only account that has this option is my top performing account.

well my stuff got there.... far far far farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr all the way to aus

it took about as long as if I sent something to there myself and i had some what patchy tracking.

but atleast it didn't go into a black hole.

so far the global shipping isn't doing anything for sales.. but its just weeding out the PITA people that bid and win even though my stuff USA ONLY, i took that off and just put everything in global shipping.

I have nothing bad to say about it.... its fine so far.

they charged me nothing extra, buyer paid my domestic shipping rates and off it went.

Its just like im sending something with in the USA.

I liked it, i just wish it would actually perk up my international orders.... which it is not.

I have no idea how it was sent, i guess i could go back and ask my buyer.

Ask if possible if he was hit with a huge import duties/tax ( assuming the product is worth a few hundred dollars ), and what shipping carrier was used. Thanks.

Right, they are trying reel in the suckers and then when they have reached critical mass they will pull the usual ebay stunt and change policies and fees in the middle of the game. Thanks but no thanks.

Does anyone have any experiences using the US eBay Global Shipping program with stealth accts? If so, are there any drawbacks, benefits, or issues you've run into?

Default Global shipping program

It just did not work for me. I make extra for shipping internationally and through this program I don't get the few extra change from the shipping and I don't even know who gets it.

well i was just using it for the slight chance someone from another place buys something....... I almost NEVER get any overseas sales because of this.

but then i get an email today saying my TRS status is at risk in "global" because of crappy shipping charges? wait what?

1. I can't remember the last time is shipped with that program
2. if you are railing my customers with shipping charges... why the fk should that reflect back on me?

im 99% sure in the guidlines it said if your package makes it to the shipping center within xyz days you get an automatic 5 stars... what gives ?

my charges are inline or better then other sellers and i take shipping SPEED serious...... but again.. my overseas orders are close to none so why I am i taking a hit in "global"

okkkkkkkkkkkkkk

another update, i just had to cancel a transaction because for some crazy reason eb4y chooses to slap an extra 15.00 on the transaction for god knows what. they don't know anything about the item so how on gods earth they can create some mystery customs shipping foo foo charge is beyond me.

just shipped the same week with the program and everything was fine, this poor person gets stuck with a big bill. nice going eb4y, way to piss off customers... and i can't even help them out when you do it!!
