Default EMS offices in china advising not to post again

anyone else finding sellers have been advised not to post items by ems due to customs checks?

Maybe in UK - EMS is actually advisable in Canada

EMS is OK but heard many stories of issues. I'm with James, DHL all the way for me!

Might be that those sellers are on the customs watch list.
Or, it could even be that it is now cheaper to ship via DHL for certain things?

in china there's some channels like dhl or ups where they can ship 'branded' items without problems
price are different

the main issue is your declared value less than it should be.
of course, if you sell fxxk, they will take it.
even it's branded , still is a issue

Not sure about the UK but China sellers use to always send smaller quantities via EMS. When it came to large packages UPS and DHL always for whatever reason they could get through customs more easily. Not exactly sure as to why.

Although way back I did buy from a Chinese supplier who had a connection at DHL that would change the weight on the Airbill to 1lb so when the arrived in customs the computer would not flag that package for inspection.
