I shipped it September 3rd. It arrived in the destination country (Australia) on September 15th, and there hasn't been a single update since then. I tried tracking it on Australia Post's website but nothing comes up.
Maybe a delay at customs? Or shouldn't the tracking state this...
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
I had no idea the buyer didn't receive his item yet and he actually opened a case on eBay, which is what made me realize this. He never even messaged me prior to that.
Anyway, I messaged him a couple times and told him to contact Australia Post while I contact Canada Post. CP told me that it may be in customs or they may have assigned a new tracking number to it. This is an expensive item so I'm pretty irritated. Hopefully this week it gets delivered/updates tracking
As an FYI, when you search for returns on eBay, it practically opens a case by default. I think eBay wants this information to weed out bad sellers. Unless the buyer knows what they are doing, they may not even realize they opened a case until it is too late.

I don't think this buyer knows what he's doing. The buyer has a feedback score of 1 and even left me positive feedback already lol (on the day I gave him the tracking #).
Ok good news! Just checked the tracking again on Australia Post's website and it says it's IN TRANSIT, and "On board with driver for delivery today". Just yesterday it showed nothing.
All of my problems with shipping to Aussie land is usually long shipping time. I just shipped something to Aussie land with Priority Mail and took 2 weeks to arrive. 1 3/4 was sent in customs.
Sure hope you can get your money and buyer gets his/her product.

I'm relieved
Had the mispleasure to speak to Aus Post earlier.
Their claim is they had main frame issues after a power outage.....
I've had 10 day shipments and I've had two week shipments to Australia. I think it's because it's so huge a country and it gets outback real quickly outside the cities. They may hold packages and save fuel then deliver way out there all at once with multiple shipments.
Here in the states UPS/Fedex use the post office to send a package instead of driving way out in the woods!

So a few days to update - that's fine...glad it is resolved - now to wait for buyer satisfaction
