Would u recommend one large pallet every 2 or 3 months over a parcel every 2-3 weeks?

Depends totally on what your ordering.

If its a new item, I would go with small and often.

If it is an old item that you know sales will be steady for years to come then a large pallet a few times a year would be a better way to do it IMO. It also enables you to get a better price on the item

I rang the number in the letter and paid them immediately by card. The agent assured me my account was clear. But somehow the payment (which came off my cc bill) was never credited to my account. Next thing I was getting letters from a debt collection agency.

It took about half a dozen phone calls and a lot of time and stress to sort it out. I never even got a formal apology let alone a copy of their complaints procedure which I repeatedly asked for. Eventually I took the case to the Financial Ombudsman and got a payout. I will not touch them now and have used Fedex ever since.

I am also very careful to make sure that I get (and pay) an invoice for each box and if they dont send one within 2 weeks I ring up and ask for it.

These companies are far too fond of blaming others for their mistakes.

You're not the only one. I ended up with letters because they didn't invoice properly. I rang and made payment, however, the debt collection agency then started sending letters and passed the blame back to DHL for sending my file back to them for collection even though it had been done.

Back to the point though: anyone IMPORTING phakes from a foreign country will always have problems, maybe not initially but in the long term its not a good business model.

In the UK if a complaint reaches the Financial Ombudsman service it costs the company concerned a hefty sum regardless of how the case is decided. I believe its currently about 500 GBP which is close to $1000.

By law companies are supposed to have a complaints procedure but they never adhere to it.

I agree about the "phakes" - its playing with fire.

The phakes I really have issue with are medicines, cosmetics, health foods, electronic goods, and stuff that can harm or kill you if you take or use it in good faith. Phake medications have even ended up in legitimate outlets.

As for clothes and jewellery well these Big Brands overprice their stuff and most of it is produced in foofoo land anyway so I have no sympathy with them (the Big Brands). I would just never deal in that stuff (except for the odd genuine branded vintage item).
