USPS Shipping Issue

I recently shipped out a bunch of items that I sold on my stealth accounts through the USPS. The problem is that the labels were smaller than usual which might have led to an issue with scanning the barcode. Its been 48 hours and I have checked the tracking info online and it hasn't stated that the packages have been received. Will the packages still be sent out? The address is still legible and the number below the barcode is legible on all of the packages. I can't really afford for the packages to be returned because I used a random address for the stealth.

I cannot GUARANTEE anything because I am not a USPS expert, but in my experience the most likely thing that happened is they were simply not scanned at the origin point. It happens all the time. See if it scans at a sorting center in the next couple of days.

I have actually had packages that made it all the way across the country without being scanned ONCE! It is rare, but it happens.

How can you seriously afford to do business if you do not have access to a business address. Not a wise choice.

What you have is an ebay account. The only thing different is it is stealth.
It is more important to run that account properly without making extra issues for yourself.

To make you feel better, there have been reports of items 'getting' thro' the USPS system without being scanned. You may be one of these lucky people.

Like jeffweico stated, I have had parcels sent from WA State make the East Coast without scanning info.

I hope luck is with you. But do consider getting access to a correct address.

@OP, you can always switch the address on return label to an address you have access to - it's part of business

Thanks for all the advice guys. Just to update the packages were finally accepted by USPS. I think they just had to enter the bar code manually which was the reason for the delay. I like the idea of switching the return label to my address but I am concerned that ebay will use that to link all my stealth accounts to my old suspended account.
