anybody know how is Italian Custom ?

hi everyone.
i am trying to send a parcel to Italy from HK. i am not sure if italian custom is hard ? they are electrical products.
anybody know something ? can you share your idea?

Not much experience with the custom in here but I think oompaloompa is right.
They are not too harsh.
Bought a few things from far east and just one time the item has been stopped (it was electrical good).
I guess most of the difference is made by the value of the goods.
If it is high value it is likely to be stopped anyway.

A lot would depend on the nature of the item as well

They are multi-perosnality.

Some days they are OK.

Other times they seize items and delay clearing them promptly.

If they do that, their explanations are rare to be given.

Do make sure all the correct paperwork is filled in and that the values are correct.

hard to decide. GB was right. declare a correct value and paperwork. 20% of impot duty will be a nightmare for importer. our profit is much lower than 20%.
