Mine too. I've not used EMS for long time - just had bases covered with these delays.

Same. Seems all EMS from 20-28th or so is stuck. It's not moved, and I have had packages come through since then no problem. It's in China somewhere because I asked parcel force and they said it's not in the UK. So it's either stuck in a warehouse between Europe and China, or in China.

EMS are dealing with it, they need*5-8 days make adjustment.

Your packages wont be lost and will send you final.


So wait another 2 weeks then what. Been 5 weeks then. For something normally here in 7 days

I don't know who's telling the truth. DHL are unaware of what's happening?

That was 3 weeks ago, i'm not sure whats happening now. It seemed to go back to normal, now it's hit and miss.

Hi, i have been waiting since 2oth september for my 3 parcels sent by sea from shenzen to hong kong because of the problem with 1) hong kong demonstrations then 2) chiinese customs looking in 90% of parcels because of jewellry and money laundering and 3) chinese national holiday was from 1st october to 7th october, now that things are back to normal still havn't received them, may be a back log, then they are suppose to go by air (dhl) to heathrow london

Agreed. It's not the sellers fault, but it's also not ours either. It's frustrating for everyone. My package still hasn't moved, and hasn't been resent yet either, despite him claiming it was going to be gone Friday.

QUESTION. I have a parcel on DHL shipped Sept 13th, then changed the date to Sept 28 but still the same status Shipment info received until today. Is there any possibility that the parcel will not be delivered? Or is it lost or something?

No. It is basically like this. Your supplier has printed off your shipping label but has not shipped yet. Then they decided to ship a new label because that label waited around too long.
Shipping info received just means the label has been created. I have had 2 packages like this. One was stalled for almost 3 weeks. But I would rather it be stalled than taken by customs.
Have you contacted your supplier yet and asked them (politely) what is going on and when they believe it may actually be shipped?

Are DHL back and running now. My ems still stuck from 24th and had a few from ems 3/10 5/10 arrive since. But unsure about dhl

Yes I already asked the seller about it. She just said to wait a few more days. I asked her a couple of times, but same reply. But she agreed to resend another item via EMS. And gladly its moving. I wonder maybe I will get double items, the one from DHL and other from EMS.

Wrong, shipment info recived means the suppliers courier booked shipping with dhl for an example.

Most suppliers from china use this method:
Factory - supplier - courier - dhl/ems service - customer

Most smaller international suppliers use this method:
Wholesale store/factory - local post - customer

Thats why china suppliers almost always needs 3-5 handling days.

Dhl hk back to normal by the way.
Ems hk 5+ days slower sence october 2013

So if the status is Shipment information received, where is the actual parcel? Is it in the seller's courier then they'll pass it to DHL?

And DHL HK is back to normal? Is it normal Shipment info received for 4 days? I have another shipped Saturday Oct 11.

Hi Please help

I have been trying to buy lipglosses and the seller says DHL does not ship lipglosses? She only tells me this after I have paid and EMS is slow for my liking :(

Yes most Times its being transported locally by courier service. Yes shipment info recived can be there for a few days sometimes, some couriers are cheaper for the suppliers but often the cheapest couriers only delivers to dhl 1-2 times a week.
Noticeable is that many couriers doesnt work on weekends or holidays but dhl work 24/7 365d/y

Hi, has anyone same problem as i have? Everyday DHL update status on my package but it is alway the same "Clearance event". In few hours there will ne next clearance event and i still dont know what is going on.

Slow is better than nothing though :) nothing you can do if DHL doesn't ship. I do agree though your supplier should have told you that before you paid unless of course she wasn't aware of it.
