Chance's are you won't find anything. The Chinese will probably keep these under the wraps. But if your DHL package is stuck on "Shipment information received" for few days than this is why.

its apple hogging all the planes for iPhone shipments. they have contract for probably 99% of the planes coming from china when iPhones are released.

I new something was up, I thought it might have something to do with the iphone 6 coming out, maybe trying to prevent ⊗⊗⊗⊗. Does anyone know what really is happening.

The latest update I have here is the hk customs is closed pending investigation at the moment. And no apple is not the reason why everything is stuck. The carriers will run separate planes for apple.

Update : Custom's is back open and packages moving again. If your package is stuck than they need to inspect it as it was sent same time as ⊗⊗⊗⊗ currency.

So does it means? I have two packages locked from September 12 in "Shipment information received"...when do you think they will be shipped?

I have actually received 3 of my orders yesterday, but I think they were sent out before this inspection thing. I still have 5 orders with shipment information received and the earliest is from september 10th, the others september 15th.

iv just placed an order with my chinese supplier who shipped my supplies by ems today saying it will take longer by dhl due to this situation.

My 3 parcels are stuck and it still says "shipment information received". It's been almost 6 days now. :(

I have 2 parcels "Shipment information received since Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 00:38" still not moving as of today.

This does not mean that the item has actually been posted.

It just means that DHL has been used to create a postal label.

No, it is not. DHL received the parcel, but there are problems with customs.

If TECHD can give us updates through its Chinese supplier about the situation today. He said that "custom's is back open and packages moving again", but unfortunately the situation has not yet changed. :tears:

Mine are still shipment information received, I hope they are not backed up to long. All my inventory except one item is decent for about another week. My suppliers just keep saying they are backed up because of whatever happened.

For people who have already ordered their isn't much you can do I think, but if you're looking to order you can use EMS. Sadly it's slower, but slower is better than nada.

I mean you will receive them, but I think their isn't much you can do apart from wait. The sellers can't do much about it and neither can people waiting for packages. But if you wish to purchase more stock, you can buy with EMS as it doesn't have to go the HK Custom way. It can go another way, but the shipping time is slower.

I understand...but in my two packages I have 450$ of objects that my customers have already paid me...and they are mad at me for being late...from 12 September no news.

That sucks :( your only options are to wait or reorder and use EMS. I usually don't sell my items until they have cleared my countries customs or I have them in hand just in case this happens. Otherwise I spend all my time stressing over it, like in the past.

That's a risk you took and nobody's fault but your's. You sold what you didn't have. Now face the consequences and be a responsible seller.

Thank you for your answer...so the problem is to understand how long do these delays as to me it's been over a week, while other shipments are regularly matches.

Update : So far its seems like packages shipped on sept 12 and 13th are stuck. I have recieved one box already that shipped on 15th.

No I've not asked them. presuming it will eventually turn up I'll just have to wait for it. And use ems until everything's back to normal. I've got a good relationship with them and have been using them for a year now so i trust they are telling the truth.

One parcel status changed to shipment picked up. Hopefuly it will arrive by Tuesday. Rest of 2 parcel status is still "shipment information received". :(
