seized does it mean customs took it and wont deliver it to me

If it is seized then yes that means customs took it. Possible you will get a letter. What sort of items were being posted? Was the value under declared?

my package has departed facility 3 times in Hong Kong what does that mean 0_0

it goes through 2 stage at hong kong it arrives at the hub the is sent to the airport hub if on hold now it missed the flight but will be departed very soon.

I have multiple suppliers that ship from Hong Kong and China. What they have all told me is that there is a new head in customs who is trying to make his authority known.

Because of this almost EVERY package going by DHL is being checked before it goes out which can take up to 10 days or more. We have had some DHL finally ship out after 3 days and some as long as 14 days after they are given to the carrier.

That said the issue should not be affecting UPS as much as our UPS shipments are arriving in normal time with little or no delay but the cost is a bit higher than DHL.

I think it all depends on the carrier (DHL, UPS, FedEx) who the seller is using for a forwarder (some are more likely under more scrutiny than others) and probably part to do with shipment size, item descriptions and value noted on your packages.

This problem probably is not disappearing for a while. In the mean time you can try shipping by carriers other than DHL for the fastest processing times.

I always had better luck with DHL HK than DHL China..

YOU ARE WRONG ABOUT SENDING BUY SEA!

I HAVE NOW FINALLY RECIEVED MY 3 PARCELS WHICH WERE SENT ON 20TH SEPTEMBER, they were sent BY SEA AND TOOK 4 WEEKS by sea from shenzen to hong kong BECAUSE of the problem with 1) hong kong demonstrations then 2) chiinese customs looking in 90% of parcels because of jewellery heist and money sent in boxes and 3) chinese national holiday was from 1st october to 7th October.

Once 'Shipment Information Received' changed to PICKED UP DHL WERE BRILIANT, IT ARRIVED IN UK 2 DAYS LATER - I HAVE USED DHL for a while now and never had any problems all of the above was a ONE OFF, things are back to normal now, Happy Shipping but don't forget to order and get it way before CHRISTMAS!

A TIP FOR EVERYONE
I sent all my parcels fpr years by EMS and so they went through Coventry Customs not physically, each of my boxes had about £70 charge put on them, also about a week hold up, loads of red tape THEN changed to DHL ok get charged £18 for VAT and charges for whole of the 3 boxes I send but who cares, it is QUCKER and better.
