Yes it does expire, i just heard some packages still have delays but i dont know what to expect just yet, official vwrsion is that everyrhings back to normal but i also have a dhl hk order wich seems to be slow.

Mine DHL order this week was picked up Wednesday in HK and out for delivery today so looks like DHL is back to normal.

My package has been updated today, but i still dont know what does it mean. If goods is free now and can flight to europe.

Same sh*t? send out 16th and still information received??? omg.

My suplier told me:
"i will delay 3-5days to track it, problem also the same problem like last time"...

Mine is exactly the same, updated at the same time, I'm guessing this is a mass update just to stop the complaints or something.

My package was also processed on the 10th so it could go back to clearance event again by tomorrows update or hopefully get forwarded to HK... hopefully... :rant:

I still have delays also for the 2nd time. Supplier said "all parcels in one bag( more than 100 parcels) checked by china customs office, it delayed and now is ok, will update system in 1-2 days"

My shipment was picked up on the 16th. It's now arrived at sort facility in Hong Kong. Estimated delivery is the 20th.

Looks like EMS is fine now. I have had 2 packages come through, but the original is still stuck on "despatch from sorting center"

I myself got caught in the mess since Sep 22. My shipper is from Guangzhou and uses DHL HK. I had "Shipment information received" on Sep 22. Right in the middle of the madness caused by the smuggling case. Shipper informed me about the situation and notified me the shipment was sent back by Security. Resent on Oct 30. Sent back again. I was confused since I never had problems with previous shipments (It used to take 5 days after "Shipment Information Received" to get in in my hands). I had some cosmetic kits and decided with shipper to take out some small bottles with glue from inside each kit. Resent third time. "Shipment information received" on Oct 9 and finally "picked-up" up in HK on Oct 15. After that easy peasy, shipment already received in good order.

It seems that at least for a while Customs Security/DHL/other couriers will check every ounce of dust inside every box and if they do not like something they will not take it. I do not know what the future will bring but for a while the security will be tight as hell which will cause returns and delays.

I am just confused why some shipments show Shenzen. Mine always shows Hong Kong only although shipped from Guangzhou. Some say DHL HK is not really the same as DHL China (via Shenzen) and DHL HK is better.

EMS is super fast right now, DHL speed. My original package posted around a month ago has finally reached the UK, so might get it Wednesday.

So I contacted DHL and spoke to a CSR for about 15 mins. The guy didn't have any clue what is going on with the package. He said they will call me back within 24hr.

anyone knows what is going on?

If the supplier use DHL in both China and from HK, then you will see it all thr wsy, with start in Shenzhen.
But sone suppliers (mine too) use local Chinese forwarder in China.
In this case, it will be "shipment information received" until DHL in HK pick it up after costoms in Shenzhen.

Got my missing item today and did not even know about it :) Tracked it last night, nothing and then knock on door at 1pm with the parcel today.
