Dhl is normal now. But my supplier is charging $1 more per kilo now.

I have called DHL Hong Kong but they said there is no custom problem.
They are all full of **** like DHL

What makes you think dhl is back to normal now? Mines still stuck on shipment information received since the 17th. My supplier keeps saying it should change within 48 hours.

A lot of conflicting information in here.

My supplier told me that we are just waiting for DHL to update their status.
Other people reported that all the packages are still stuck at customs.
And yet others said that their package status got updated and is heading their way.

Seems to me that DHL is just trying to calm everybody down and buy some time.

From experience it's more likely the sellers just lie through their teeth all the time, which is true.

I've just noticed that my seller stopped offering DHL as a shipping option.
I'm gonna write email to HK DHL and try to get some answers from them directly later in the day.

Your supplier needs to pick it up and resend it. I got 3 packages shipped after 13th and they all arrived. For 1 parcel which was stuck, i was given a new tracking number for it.

That could mean that all packages send around the time of the money/jewelry/drug bust are waiting for inspection and others are moving freely.

Im getting packages fine now. Your suppliers dhl agent needs to pickup and resend the parcel.

Yes. I think they have been inspected and won't move. Some were lucky and came through as I get one parcel which was stuck and 3 more parcels sent after 13th. My stuck parcel was picked up and resent by supplier's dhl agent. I will update when I see movement on new number.

Yup. Had it happen in the past once. I bet most of these stuck parcels are e cigars and dhl doesnt ship ecigars anymore.

What will resending actually do though? it sounds more like luck more than anything. and resend through DHL ?

Any idea if this is JUST DHL or if others are affected, ie. EMS? I believe EMS uses ship transport rather than air?

That is a great news and would confirm that status of parcels up to 12 should be updated be the end of this week.

EMS is fine, it uses different customs too. It's just twice as slow.

To answer my own question...seems my EMS parcel is moving swiftly. So no delay there.

My packages been on "Shipment information received" since the 15th. no updates yet. i talked to a supplier in China and said it is taking longer to process through costumes but it is open and processing packages...

lets see what is next

Yes though DHL. As they don't check outbound packages. They only did as they found the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ currency.

What's even more crazy is these suppliers are just employees. 10 people sitting in small room selling under 10 different accounts for 1 boss. I don't deal with those suppliers anymore as they can't do **** and don't really care.They just tell you what you want to hear.

My supplier who is the most trusted person I know told me on Monday that it gonna take one more week. So I will wait till Monday.
Problem is not with DHL but Hong Kong airport. I'm gonna try china dhl as I have told by my supplier that their processing time is still 6-8 days. ;)

shipping direct from china is not a problem unless you sell products with batteries, as far as i know you can not ship anything with them from china. That is why battery goods must go from hong kong.

Which kind of suppliers do you deal with then?

well my shipment info was received 20th after all of that i believe and still stuck?

I hope this will really end next Monday. Somehow I'm suspicious and probably will be prolonged again, but let's see.

orders from 10/11 were moving on Wednesday! one of my orders (from 14th)is being re-sent via EMS because it hadn't even reached HK. DHL HK isn't aware because it's not their issue, it's within the customs of cities the goods need to pass through to get to HK. If the goods have reached HK then the delivery would be quicker but if it is stuck in one of the cities, might even be longer!!

My package from 10th september were shipped and arrived in Amsterdam so i will receive it today ore tomorrow.

Fedex i was too hopeful....still in China with the comment...

"Delay beyond our controle"

Today my two parcels are still in "Shipment information received" but now there is 25 September as date, and no more 12 September. ..what does it means?

I am also having the same problem with my order

DHL info stuck at "Shipment information received" Friday, September 19, 2014 .

And till today no update ... i order tablets

and yesterday i order the same tablet using Hong Kong Air mail ..

I've got packages from September 15th still showing as "Shipment information received". Trusted supplier but he just doesn't know how long its gonna take.
All modes affected. EMS, Fedex, UPS...
