You receive the phones and they're pants.
You send them back via which method? Royal Mail or other courier?
Before leaving the UK they are seized?
Do these phones bear any distinctive trademark issues, i.e. look or design to big named phone brands beginning with A or S? Any logos or such? |
| JamesNorth101 | 12-09-2014 08:28 AM | Re: uk customs and now police Where these phones branded? |
Re: uk customs and now police From where did you buy the phones OP? From China directly? |

Are you saying a parcel you were sending back to China got seized?
If so, you should be seriously considering getting legal advice.
If any mention was made of FACT, then you need professional aid.

| Radfele | 12-10-2014 01:39 PM | Re: uk customs and now police yea got seized when I tried to send them back to the supplier in China. It was s5's. But I have proof of purchase and I didn't sell them, so that makes it a bit easier. |

What is FACT GreenBean? | UK institution that specialises in making morning calls to residences and not for breakfast. They raid homes in the course of their investigations. FACT | The Federation Against Copyright Theft
OZ has a similar agency, AFACT
And a fact is that both agencies are savage in their conduct during investigations.
Not to be tangled with at all, ever.

This is not a case for you to get assistance from internet strangers.
IF HRMC think there is an issue, and have advised you of police involvment, it does not necessarily make it easier.
Suggest you read the below thread for info. Take steps to protect yourself. https://www.gov.uk/customs-seizures-and-penalties
