You know, there is nothing wrong with calling DHL and asking them whats going on. DHL is not customs, so do not be afraid to call them and express your curiousities. Something can mean different things. There is not one answer for their status updates. I have never had a seizure from customs through DHL but I have had holds and events listed on a tracking number that has worried me, but they still came through. I called on those and received great explanations from DHL that set me at ease. I have even had things inspected by customs and USDA that still came through to me. (Don't bother asking about the product's integrity please, it won't be answered).

I just had dhl track a package to the wrong customs location on other side of usa this was yesterday morning this morning it showed back in hkk now tonite it is showing my local customs pending process.. Mabey its a puter glitch or they might be mailing my package back and forth across the world

Sorry. It appeared a day later. This happened about a month ago. So again, I have never had a DHL package not come to me. FedEx via Alaska is a different story though. I will never use FedEx again.

Ok WHAT ?? LA and CIn OH is two different customs check across the country from each other never I have seen this ... got to drop to the bottom and read back up to understand tracking its screwy

I have never had it say Cincinnati then LA then Cincinnati. LA is a problem spot for packages from what I hear. #1-9 is ok looking. I have had plenty of times where it is out of order with HONG KONG and Cincinnati.

To me it looks like they screwed up and caught it. DHL probably does not do hub to hub within the US so the most convenient solution was to send it back to HONG KONG then back to its correct US hub (being Cincinnati). That would be my best guess.

It has been sent from china to usa back to china back again :juggle:

Data entry clerk has made an error updating the manifest.

More than likely they have transposed numbers & confused two different shipments.

The actual item did not come in two packages?

Ask your friend to come on board - as for seizure...best to check with the Dhl service itself and your seller

it reads as two but I asked shipper said only one and she had never seen this either fingers crossed today is little more productive

This really is one of these where a phone call to DHL will put you at ease.

As for the manifest DHL's often looks like this for shipments from China, as does UPS. this is usually due to entries made in different time zones or staff input error and more often then not it does not reflect accurate "live" tracking.

Remember - your paying them for a service so call them and get the service your paying for.

Just to add, its not uncommon for the DHL agent in China to repackage the goods after the shipper has handed them over, this can be done so they can confirm the content or so they can pack it more efficiently.

yep I think that's what happened said it was two packages now this is what dhl said and one package is in LA and other one is in Ohio gotta love that said I should get them both but one package might take a few more days guess better than nothing

After Holidays Customs is on prowl..... Now of course if the "integrity" is ok nothing to worry about......

seized bummer Well they got one of the two supplier agreed to split loss so costed me 157 but still ...... Guess I was the unlucky bingo winner
