First class Mail is about it. There are still lots of people shipping without tracking. Its a numbers game. Sell in volume and if some get lost (or scammed) its not a huge loss.

I've been intrigued by these types of sales, but I have never gone through with trying to sell anything like this.

eBay charges 10%, PayPal charges .30 per transaction plus 2.9%, so the eBay and PayPal fees would be 43 cents, making your net proceeds 56 cents. A first class stamp costs 49 cents, so that leaves you with 7 cents. I have no idea what the wholesale cost of these items is, but I am guessing it is more than 7 cents.

If you were selling a few hundred of these per week, then you could send them via bulk mail, which would cut your shipping costs in half. But even then, your net proceeds after shipping but before the cost of the item is factored in is 32 cents. Even if the item costs just 10 cents, you have a profit of 22 cents.

In my opinion, that is not enough to bother about.

Either the seller has made a mistake in the listing price OR they are using this as a tool to get feedback and they don't care about their profits (or may even be willing to take a loss) OR they have found some way to ship for next to nothing.

B2B rates are worth looking into with a range of shipping companies/couriers, you just need to be shipping in quantity....
