yes because you're asking buyers to not include eBay in the transaction thus eBay losing transaction fees

this will get you suspended very very fast

Ebay are cracking down on this.

First issue would be, under most circumstances the email address would be obscured when the buyer sends it to you - so your going to have to deal with that.

Then eventually ebay will suspend you for doing this (very quickly usually).

I do not see any issue with doing this at all. the only issue would be cancelling the transaction on ebay and trying to do the deal outside of ebay. BUt you can receive payment with lots of payment options as long as you give ebay their cut you are good.

This is not a violation of ebay terms or policies in anyway UNLESS you try to complete the transaction and cut out ebay

ebay does not require payments through ebay checkout, you can pretty much accept payment anyway you want but choosing other options can change buyer or seller protection

this is a long time ebay seller myth, that makes it really hard to deal with dumb ebay sellers. " I want to send you payment directly" and ebay sellers are like "NO that is paying outside ebay" and it is just not true, 100% not true and if I am wrong show me the policy proving I am wrong please, dont just feed your myths to this thread!

If I am following correctly, you don't have the item for sale on eB right? Yes, you can invoice people on paypal for goods sold outside of eB...pp is NOT just for eb sales.

Now the real question is why use PP when you don't have to....?
