Default Can you buy feedback as a seller?

For some reason which i dont understand, from next month i am to be given a tolerance of 0.3% for cases resolved without seller resolution, whereas previously i was given 2%.
I dont understand the reason for this change, i have asked ebay, theyve said its always been 0.3%, but it hasnt been, i am still currently above standard at 1.51%, its only in the next evaluation when another defect is taken into account that my status falls below standard.

So 2 parter:
1: Does anyone understand this?
2: I would need hundreds of transactions to get the defect rate down that low, it would be impossible. Is it possible to buy this kind of feedback or is my account just now suddenly doomed?

You can buy seller feedback but that is also very risky...

It might be my only option. Ill need 500 sales in 3 months. I think id only be able to process half that. The other half i might have to buy and hope he does it right.

otherwise account will be toast..

Arr you on a 3 month or 12 month evaluation?

If you're on a 3 month, can you stop selling and get on a 12 month thus diluting any recent cases?

Then yes, ive been being reviewed every month. 1 of the defects is new, the other two had already been taken into account and i am above standard. Next month the 3rd one will be applied and it is then telling me that i will be at 2.16% defect rate for that defect wheras currently i am being given a numerical value for that defect, and it is 2 defects. 2 being top rated and 3 being below.
This 0.30% Limit is new to me yet ive asked and they say its always been like this and wont explain what i am seeing.
Its very strange.

You have to do it right, don't do it too fast.

Definitely would not recommend doing this yourself, from linked accounts.

No lol that seems terrible, if i have to ill be dropping a few hundred for it aswell.
I may actually have to learn stealth if i lose it.
Does it take long to set up? I bought the book before but i turned out not to need it.

This caught my attention.

Does stop selling automatically takes a seller from 3 months to 12 months evaluation? If this is so, how long from time a seller stops selling will this take effect.

To be in a 3 month evaluation you need to sell 400 items in a 3 month period.

Say you average 150 items a month, then by stopping selling for a month, you would revert back to the 12 month evaluation.

Thanks, I think I remembered reading that on ebay few yrs ago. The downsize to this is, if you stop selling then your negatives in the last 12 month that would not have come into your evaluation metrics since you netting 400+ will begin affect your ratings again.

Yes that's correct.

So you have to do the maths to see if its beneficial to the account or not.

I did it once as I had a bad spate of defects which took me quite near the limit. So I eased off selling for a while to get on the 12 month and dilute the recent defects.

Family and friends can buy from you as per policy. List 0.99 cent items.
