Ebay account indefinitely restricted

The scenario:

- I regularly use work PC to respond to customer queries/ track my activity.
- Workmate does the same on his PC
- Workmate's account got permanently suspended due to "high fraud risk".
- He was using his friends Ebay and Paypal account to get around the monthly selling allowance and somehow mixed the two accounts up on a particular transaction
- Ebay flagged this up and suspended both of their accounts
- A week later, i get the same email (i suspect it's because my account was linked to my friend's via the work IP address)

Obviously i had nothing to do with any of this and i feel it is really unfair for them to restrict me indefinitely simply for sharing the same IP address..

Is there anything i can do or are my selling days over?

Don't waste a minute, move on the account is gone forever. No way are they going to reinstate especially if this is ip related. Future reference use Dedicated IP address to avoid similar scenario...

It's probably more than an ip link for them to ban your account to.

You can get accounts reinstated, try calling up and explaining it's just a workmates account, nothing to do with you.

If that doesnt work, then it's time to go stealth.

Move on to new accounts unless you think you can save the account.

Welcome to stealth! Best thing to do is learn stealth and get a few accounts going then in the mean time try to get your account back if you can.
