4 year old stealth paypal account limited - confirm identity?

Very stressed. Logged into my paypal account and the account has been limited. Paypal is asking me to verify my identity by providing a photo ID or receiving a call from their automated machine but i do not have access to the original phone number i started the account with...i know stupid...This is a stealth paypal account that is over 4 years old. Stupidly has $3000 in it as i sell newer iphones.

This is a business stealth paypal account created with an LLC tax id number so its technically a business account not an individual account. Is there anyway to resolve this matter. Obviously i cant provide them a photo ID as this is a stealth account. Do they just look at the ID or do they verify it through a system as i could provide them with an "alternate" ID?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have any idea of the reason why they limited you?

You can try giving them the ID, problem is there's no guarantee even if you were to give them an ID, they'll give you back the account.

About the phone option though, there's a way to spoof a phone number. It's been a while since I did that so I don't remember the name of it anymore. But this could be an option assuming you still remember the old phone number at least.

They use to but now they hash out some of the details like ***-***-6341

OP knows the number, just has not access to it.

see if you can find some alternate ID from the list, if you think it will work better.
