Increase seller limits if you list but don’t sell?

I went a little nutty with account creation this past holiday Season and have enough backups to last me a few years. They have low limits (5-10 items), so while it would be ideal for me to work on these accounts and mature them, it wouldn’t be practical.

I know that eBay usually gives you auto increases if you sell to your limits. But what if you just list to the limits and moons of those items sell? Anyone with any experience know if you would still see limit increases ?

They'll increase you anyway usually, not as fast as if you're selling lots, but you still often get bumps, so I'd go ahead and do it.

You also could go to a 5 or 10 account limit by listing 1 item with a quantity of 5 or 10 if that's easier on you.
