Activity: 0% Longevity: 58% | | Ship to honduras if you want to lose money & item
Block seller ID: sindcarcamomende_0
It took over 3 months for the parcel to be delivered to this stupid 3rd world country and I'm now out both item & postage. Seller is responsible for postal speed, & accuracy-something out of their control. They expect you to sell items for pennies with free shipping and ship via DHL. eBay is a complete joke and I am so glad I stopped selling on their stupid platform. I hope Shopify & Amazon will put eBay out of business soon. This is the email I got for sending an appeal on that case. I sent 2 items to this buyer
Hello XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX,
Thank you for contacting eBay Customer Service. My name is Tiffany and I would be happy to assist you today.
Buyer ID: sindcarcamomende_0
Item Number: 182996149805
Case ID: 5164316883
Thank you for contacting eBay and appealing this case (case ID: 5164316883). Upon inquiry, the result of the upgrade you mentioned is the buyer’s win.
We fully understand your concern and attention to this dispute. After receiving your letter, we immediately help you to verify your dispute. After reviewing, the item tracking number you provided has not been updated and the item has not been properly delivered. So the dispute decided you lost. In principle, eBay product design requires buyers to open the case after the estimated delivery date. Therefore, if the case has not been properly delivered when the case is upgraded to eBay, then the seller's delivery time exceeds the expected delivery time of the buyer to inform the buyer. This will make it impossible for buyers to receive items within their expected time, giving them a bad trading experience. Therefore, even if the item is delivered after the verdict, we will not be able to accept the seller's appeal .
Thanks for your understanding and please feel free to let us know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Tiffany

I don't mind Honduras in particular. Shipping to any country in South America is a gamble.
Block orders from that country if you don't like them. Then if customers from Honduras still want your items they'll have to use a forwarder. If the customer uses a forwarder all you have to do is show delivery to their USA forwarding company and you'll win the case.

My country's postal service kicks a$$ if you ship items within my country.
And USPS employees aren't out delivering mail in other countries, so THAT COUNTRY'S postal service is the one that sucks. Not mine!

| 100% agreed.
Never post again in S.America except Peru.
SerPost is great and never will let you down.
So just exclude all South America destinations except Peru to get piece of mind !

Since sept 2015 canadian authorities decided at least from EU & CN originations to delete tracking infos -for competition reasons- for inbound parcels .
So shipping to CA is not the best idea for high value items .
You can easily loose both item & money !

I wonder how that's supposed to help competition. If anything it creates a monopoly for whatever Canadian service offers tracking to delivery.
Since you mentioned it I went into our postage account and checked. It looks like all of our Canadian shipments since the beginning of 2018 are scanned as "delivered" by Canada Post once they clear Canada customs, and there's no further tracking after that. So I guess you're right. It hasn't become an issue for us presumably because we sell mostly cheaper stuff. I honestly can't recall any big issues caused by Canadian shipment tracking.
This is how all of ours look, if you were wondering:

For Greek shipments to Canada its always like this.
After final departure scanning .... nothing ....
So for Greeks Canada is a risk ...
However there is low rate of scamming from Canada compared to Brazil for example ...
I guess its obvious the reason ... | | The Following User Says Thank You to greakf3eak For This Useful Post: | | |

Canada is OK IF you use tracking , if you don't they "say" they didn't get the package lol, those cannucks you got to love em. Also tracking to Canada for 10z is $9.50 plus ebay .95 so that sucks Quote:

Mostly sheer stupidity.
You are complaining about a cheap shipping fee to a foreign country that has great service scanning usps packages and getting there quick. Your experience clearly is little to non.
Yea, ship something without tracking anywhere and see what happens.....I dont know how you even ship something without tracking these days. You would have to be one cheap ass idiot......welll....you are at least one of those two so I guess I understand.

I partnered with two different large brands in my industry and we sold to Walmart, Basspro, Dicks Sporting Goods, Gander Mountain, Cabelas and launched a distributorship of archery gear in Brazil. I ran into a few glitches late last year that caused a few very long months of negative cashflow but I am positioned to make more this year than I have ever before. I started two new companies this year also. One is renting RVs and the other is fulfillment for some Chinese partners.
