Default "Throwaway" Accounts Used till EU Limit - Can You Remove Bank to Link to New Acc?

Hi

Imagine a scenario where you are using a significant number of PayPal accounts with the idea of discontinuing them when they hit EU limit.

If you remove the bank account connected to any account before the account is soft limited for EU checks- can you instantly add that bank account to a brand new account?

Questions;

1) Is it possible?
2) If possible, how likely are the accounts to be immediately limited?

Limitations within a month or so don't worry me as the accounts are quickly discarded and little to no money is ever left in the accounts.

Thoughts?

Yes. I do this all the time, and haven't been limited.

Possible but I wouldn't recommend it. Just because you have removed the account information doesn't mean they have deleted the record of the account you used.

Wouldn't you be better to pass the EU limits and build up strong accounts?

As far as I am aware, having tried here and there over the years, you cannot reuse bank accounts.

It would also cause an instant link. You can give it a go if you want, but its like building a house on water.

He's not trying to build anything; the title even says that they are throwaway accounts.

I have also tried adding a bank already used over the years and paypal blocks you from doing it.

It works...

I would guess that you confirmed the bank on the PayPal and that's what "locked" it to the original account; it definitely works if you don't confirm the bank.

Thanks for the replies gents.

Just to clarify, we have 10-15 accounts and we have started to withdraw from them all using Bitcoin. The adding of a bank account is largely just to try and stabilise the account and look a little less shady - I rarely use this option as a way of withdrawing! The eventual link and closure is largely irrelevant providing it doesn't happen the next day.

I'll give it a go and report back as to whether I was successful. It would certainly be preferable over using 75-100 savings accounts every year!! I do sometimes worry about this if I ever flagged an internal review with any of the banks I use.. I'm sure they would be thinking WTF is this guy doing.

Yes you can do this, been doing for years, ignore all the disinformation on here.

You can add to another 2-3 PayPals(not at same time) then when you hit limit it will say "This bank has been added to the maximum amount of accounts"

So if you have 20 bank accounts, that's a minimum of 60 times you can use them (maybe 80)

You're making out like it's intentional but they are posting from what they have experienced.

I've also successfully added the same bank account to multiple Paypal accounts, at different times. When I did it, on occasion I would have to wait around 8 days before adding it to another Paypal account but it did work.

I've also added the same bank to more than 3 Paypals although that was some time ago now.

Well who knows?, those Paypal accounts aint gonna sell themselves

One UK bank can be added to more than 6 paypals with some out of the box thinking.

I aint gonna run out of banks anytime soon.

It's worked a treat guys, removed 3 yesterday evening which were nearing limit.

Added today less than 24 hours later and all is fine.

Great tip on not confirming them, happy days.

So you can essentially make money anonymously without even receiving a cent in to a bank account this way.

Sell digital goods, take money out off paypal via bitcoin.

I’ve been doing this for a while as well now, but every new paypal account ends up with 21 day hold when items are sold on ebay even when the ebay account is an aged account.
How do you guys get around that?

It’s standard protocol with PayPal, sudden increase in sales, account age, feedback and most importantly items being sold all result in holds. There isn’t any workaround apart from patience and fulfilling orders as soon as possible, eventually the hold is removed once you have proved yourself...

I don't sell on eBay. All my payments are manually made via friends & family - using this option bypasses the 21 day hold and funds are available immediately.

Bare in mind though this only works for me because I have no concerns about losing an account - if you're looking to build a long term account this is not a good option as it's against PayPal T&C's to do this.

Furthermore the above solution would probably lose you sales in most industries. I happen to sit in a niche where friends & family payments are pretty common practice, I would go as far to say as it's expected!

I almost didn't post this method as it's a clear loophole and PayPal don't seem to be enforcing their terms on this. 90% of my accounts last until they hit their EU limit, I very rarely get limited beforehand and I have never been pulled up on all my payments being via friends & family.

I'm not sure how useful the above info will be to most people. If you run a legit ecommerce biz for example I can't imagine customers would be willing to go through the procedure of sending a manual payment via FF. It would likely tank your conversion rate.
