No More Payment Holds

I recently uploaded my ID and provided my SSN to my real PayPal account. As a result Paypal says they wont hold money from eBay transactions anymore. The items I currently sale average $700. Will Paypal reinstitute holds if the eBay transactions increase to $2,000 or so?

They say no more holds, but what could prompt them to hold money again?

if the payment is way above your normal range ,buyer files dispute/chargeback,problem with the banks like NSF,selling high risk items,counterfeits etc

So is going from $700 for average sales to $2,000 for a sale considered a sudden spike?

Youd be tripling the volume so id say yes that would constitute quite a spike.
Just take a few weeks to do so more gradually.
