It used to be that opening a 2nd Amazon account without Amazon's permission would result in a ban, but I think that changed a while ago.


Have you heard about this? Is it now ok to open a 2nd account without Amazon permission?

You still need their permission.

It would be madness not to have it approved in writing knowing how they operate.

I guess starting April 2020 Amazon updated their TOS and now allows a 2nd account without seeking permission provided you have a "legitimate" business need.

Yes thats correct you don't need permission but it's very risky one account gone down this will also bring other account down

That's my point too, I would want them to know about the link before they make it for themselves and jump to the wrong conclusion. We all know they've got form for that.

What have you to lose by being upfront if you're legit.
