Extra EU from Italy

So I have this small business on eBay which mainly sells to US.
It is not dropshipping, items are physically in my house.

Italian Postal service is killing my business. Prices are ok (expensive but ok..) but I need to go in person to the postal office, queue for hours and customer service is really bad.

Courrier is out of question, very expensive here in Italy and would kill my business to US anyway.
Also paying for someone to queue in my place is not what I want.

I can easily ship in EU countries and I was wondering if there is a EU shipping service I can use from Italy or a hub I can send items to, and they will forward them to the US address.
I have the same problem with UK customers and all the other extra EU countries. Shipping shall be done in person at the postal office...

Have you looked at fulfilment centres?

Couriers here in the UK are pretty cheap we also have bulk drop off at the post office (just throw all the bits into a single box and leave it on the RM text basically)

I was using a kind of private poste service who was the "man in the middle" between me and Poste Italiane... everything was going fine.

Then rules has changed and now a ton of documentation is required to send stuff to extra EU countries with Poste Italiane. Private centers doesn't handle this service anymore.

Every other fulfilment centre we have in here go through courrier like DHL and are way too expensive.
