When / how will eBay overhaul the new negative feedback abomination
So it seems eBay hit a new low today. Previously it was possible to speak to an actual human being regarding feedback using facebook for business (if anyone doesn't know about this it's like live chat but much better). I had good success with a variety of issues without needing to call, including direct removal of feedback.
Today it seems even these agents have had their powers removed. I have a buyer who was away during a feedback revision request, I asked them to send me a clear and direct message stating they there happy with the transaction and would like the negative feedback removed.
They obliged but common sense isn't enough for eBay anymore, failing on the standard issue buyer experience line they simply said it there isn't a buyers agreement of removal policy so the back office team denied it.
I actually can't believe how backward and ridiculous this system has become. This can't be a sustainable marketplace for small time sellers.
