eBay Remove Negative Feedback

Hi forum,

If a buyer opens a request return and gives negative feedback. Can you appeal that negative so that eBay removes it for the simple fact of accepting the return and refund the money?

no it would only be possible if it is a dispute , not a return. and you would need to win the dispute

otherwise you can only appeal on the grounds described by ebay like offensive content etc.

One seller sent me a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ memory card. I leave a negative feedback: The memory card is corrupted and ⊗⊗⊗⊗

I don't know how eBay remove this feedback.

have you tried to discuss with buyer about revising feedback by offering refund etc?

eb won't auto-remove the feedback otherwise

that is only possible if content was offensive or personal details of someone were disclosed

make xxxx was wrong choice of words and you should use not authentic or counterfeit in the future

Swear words in the negative feedback is a surefire way to have the content removed, not always the negative count that could still show.

Thanks for clarifying - correct from other posters than foul language or character smearing will be grounds for removal
