I’m facing a strange issue with a recent order and I would really appreciate your help or if anyone has experienced something similar.
Right after the buyer paid, eBay immediately showed me the following message (see attached screenshot)
Delivery could not be confirmed using your tracking details
The strange part is that this message appeared instantly after the payment, even though I had not shipped the item yet and no tracking number was added at that time.
Later, I shipped the item with UPS, uploaded the tracking number correctly, and after a few days UPS showed the item as Delivered to the exact address and ZIP code.
eBay also shows the order as Delivered, but the same message is still there, and it says the funds will only be released on January 8.
So my questions are:
Why did this message appear immediately even before I shipped the item?
Why is eBay still unable to confirm the delivery even though UPS shows Delivered and the status on eBay also shows Delivered?
Is this normal or is there something wrong with my account or with the UPS tracking integration?
Note: I am not a new seller. I have been selling for a year, have 50 sales
and 30 positive feedback (100%). My account has never been restricted, no
cases have been opened, and all sales have received tracking numbers.
There are absolutely no problems with my account. I sell low-risk items, all priced between $15 and $25
I would really appreciate any insights or experiences from other members.
