How many sales until SSN in 2026?

In 2024/2025 I got hit with ssn request within 600$ in sales. I was wondering is it still like that in 2026? Does anyone know in 2026 how many sales does it take to get hit with ssn or what when were you requested for it?

From eBay's website I read last night that the threshold is back to 20,000 200 transactions. That is why I was asking because it seems completely random now when they request it.

It will be interesting to see. The last account I created last year needed SS immediately. MP may keep it that way compared to old Paypal IRS thresholds.
