Thanks for all the comments. I mainly sell in Electronics/Computer, Software and the like. For now, I have some cheap items less than 50 dollars to sell (speakers etc) and will sell high value items later on. At the same time, I also have quite a few accounts with amazon.
I know that I don't have to use paypal but it seems it's easier to go with paypal.... Plus, I don't have a business and don't pay tax so I am not sure whether a merchant account will be feasible for me...
As for velocity limit, your are right that it's more an amazon term, but it seems that there is a similar thing in paypal such as reserve, hold, etc... Quote:

Like the Captain & 997Turbo both said, this will be seen as a new account (mainly because there has been no activity). Dot your 'Is' & cross your 'Ts' by being careful. 'Velocity limit' is more amazon. paypal have been know to limit accounts for amounts from 50c to thousands of dollars. If you don't need paypal, don't have it. Simples.  | |
