Stick or twist with current selling account?
Hi guys,
Aint been on these forums much recently but glad to see it's still thriving
I'm just after some opinions on the situation I have found myself in - hope ya'll don't mind.
Today I was hit with a 30 day ban on putting up new listings and creating news accounts etc due to a trademark violation. All current listings are unaffected. Last month I had similar ban but for 7 days rather than 30.
I have three ebay accounts - one for selling, one for buying and one 'stealth' account which I really want to keep as an emergency account and rarely use. The selling and buying one are unfortunately linked.
The selling account has 3000+ 100% positive feedback and I'm still a top seller on the .com version of ebay so it is a worthwhile account. I'm wondering though if when the 30 ban is up I should close the account as I strongly suspect that this really is my 'last chance warning' on this account and any further violations would get me a full on ban.
If I was to close this account then would I be able to create a new selling account but with the same personal information of my current sellers account which I will close before making the new one? Although I have some details which will enable me to create a second stealth account I would rather save those for when or if I get a full on ban.
I don't think I'd be breaking any ebay rules in creating the new sellers account as I will wait til the 30 day suspension has passed. The new account that I'm proposing to create will be linked to my buyers account (which is linked to my current sellers account) so would the new account carry black marks due to the policy violations which I have had or would it be a clean slate?
Hope the above makes sense!
Thanks in advance,
S.
