Well, got a NPB. Filed dispute, closed it, got my FVF back and 5 days later got my neg.
Contacted live chat and this is what he said:
"The buyer can still leave any Feedback even if you filed an Unpaid item case. you need to send an appeal to a specialist that is handling Feedback issue to help you further with this"
Hmm... I thought that in this situation they are blocked from leaving FB. I guess things have changed again.
Among the 20 things messed up with those guys, a buyer being able to buy, not pay, and leave negative feedback is absolutely absurd. They are leaving feedback on something that never happened. There was no transaction, so what can they give feedback on?
You will get it removed had the same problem once. You just have to ask for feeback reversal due to non paying and they will do it. and yes never reply to neg. FB if you want it to be removed. otherwise you can not as soon as you have replied to it!!!!!

So he gave me a link to a form.
either way, I don't care what his excuse is. I just want this neg removed.
I'm just surprised that this buyer can still leave any fgeedbacks
well this one says that it's a mistake and he doesn't want it.
Never even responded to my NPB claim.
That's news to me. I was under the impression that if the buyer didn't respond and the NPB was closed, then at that point no NEG could be left.
Of course I figured that even if the buyer responded by telling you to go jump in a lake, that he would be free to leave a NEG anytime. Hard to figure out Ebay sometimes.....but I still just TRY to remind myself that all sellers have the same problems.

Eh? Well, I replied to it. That shouldn't make it "cannot" be removed though...
Or is it diff in eB canada?
An NPB buyer can also go and make a claim to ebay about item not received or not as described, and I have had it done to me in the past.
The ebay system is insane and I would love a joint of what they are smoking when they come up with the stuff they are coming up with, at least then I would be too stoned to care what damage they have done to my account.
When you request the removal what happens to the DSRs will they be removed also?

Their objective is clear. All buyers, every single one of them, has to be happy and safe. At any cost to seller. They are convinced that buyers confidence carries all the weight in a successful eBay. Their mind set is we will sell no matter what. So keeping buyers giddy is job one....
They are obviously important for sure. But not to the degree that they get to run around in a lawless environment. And that's what its become. They ONLY reason its not total buyer scam central is there are still honest people out there just shopping....
The only way a Non Paying Bidder/winner can leave a negative feedback comment is if the strike that gets placed on their account is removed via "asking" ebay to remove the unpaid item strike. Not sure how many times they allow a non paying bidder to have a strike removed, but that is the only way they are still allowed to leave a negative comment. And now the only "response" choice a buyer has to a non paying dispute is TO PAY or NOT TO PAY.
no I think it is not only canada. if you reply it can not be removed. I have to find the email from ebay that they sent me. thats why I never reply anymore and file straight for reversal
