Default Received MC010, Called, then got MC012...Am I More Stable?

I got an MC010 - new seller verification 7 minutes after I listed an item. The next day, I called eBay and asked what I did wrong. They asked me verification questions, I answered them, and then I got the "listing has been restored" email. Is my eBay account more stable now or do I still need to take everything really slow to stay under the radar?

You're back to where you were before. Still take it slow. Out of curiosity, how old was the account when you got the MC010? Was it brand new? Or "aged"? Any buyer feedback? Or straight into selling.

More stable in the sense that you are permitted to continue - you still need to go slow since you are new.

It was a little older than a month. It had bidding activity, but never actually received any positive feedback.

I don't know if I'm just lucky or not, but I have a 1.5 week old account and I have 11 positive feedback from buying and now I listed my first item (projected to sell for around $70) and I'm fine. Even received a payment of $198 a few days ago and no limitations.

I guess buying really makes a difference.

If you listed your first item projected to sell for $70, what did you receive a payment for that was $198. Was that payment not for an eBay sale? Did you buy cheap $0.01 to $0.99 items?

The $198 was a return customer from my now banned account, I just told him to send payment to my new account.

I bought 2 items for slightly over $1.00 with BIN, everything else I bid on some random garbage for 0.01 - 0.06 cents.

I am pretty sure any payments received to a new Paypal account don't have the same limitations as they would if the payment was received to a new Paypal account for an item that was sold on a new eBay account. I would bet that the $70 item payment will get held.

There are 2 limits. You passed the phone call so they restored your listing. Once you sell and list again, one of 2 things will happen. 1. They will place a selling limit on the account, or 2 they will suspend the account again and ask for docs. Nothing to celebrate. The other shoe is about to drop.
