I just strated using a new paypal account on my own name and got limited after a few transactions. They have linked my pp account to an old - 8 years old account that I forgot I had on my name with an other email. Now they want me to verify my info on the new account and pay for about $100 that I had in negative balance on my old account. they are saying the limitations will be removed ones I resolve this things through the verifications process and pay for the old deliquent account. My question is does it worth paying the $100 and trust they will open the account or should I just forgot about this account? I also opened a new ebay account that I started using with the new paypal and had an old account before around the same time they closed my paypal, the ebay account was also closed for selling. Will I be linked or does it worth trying to keep this account up? Does anyone had any simialr experiences? Please help!

In my opinion, you should just give up on the new but limited account. I got one account limited and days later opened a new one on the same computer/IP address and with similar information. PayPal has done nothing to that account though. I guess you could give it a shot and trust PP to reinstate your account once you have done the balance. If they lie, then you know not to do it again like that.
