Any news on ebay.de ?

Any news on ebay.de ? Few weeks back there was a discussion about ebay holding money. What is happening these days ? I've been out of the loop for some time. If there is a hold, anyone figured out how many feedbacks you need to get rid of it ? I mostly using bank transfer in germany, but still would like to know what am I up againt if I have to take PP

Yeah well they are still holding money, Supposedly for your own good but we all know how it is. eBay takes the money lets you know to send the item and then MAYBE it will give you the money after 14 days like they say they would but then you find out it gets there to your pp account after a full month.... sucks but all of the new accounts have to now go through this.

Yes, thats the general idea. And after that you might get hit by pp ban

Oh yes they hold it and then usually send you the money into your PP account in parts, from a whole auction I sold about 1000 Euros in, i just got 21 Euros.... seriously.
And yes last time on another account right after I got a bigger chunk of money I got banned by PP immediately...so now the trick is as follows: develop some sales in USA, wait a month or so, then go on ebay.de, change your US address to the German one and there you are. This is how it is avoided at this time by me :-)

was your paypal VCC, VBA and doc verified?

all is verified alright.
ALL new sellers ( even those with feedback over 25) get under this so called "protection" until they learn to trust you and then maybe they will put you up as normal after that.
Annoying but you got no other choice with this.

ebay.de unless you have accs made before september 2011 then there is no hold.

ok what about if you use a ukebay account and list on the ebay.de site, which rule applies here, if the ukk account was made before september 2011

It will work 100% lets say on 100 accs made through september even some i had made in october 50% had blocks so to be sure lets say anyhting made before september wont have the holds on the money and you will be able to select and un-select paypal as option.Dosendt matter where account was made all mine are uk made EUs applies to anything listed on Ebay.de

If you do sell and your forced to accept the ebay agreement on accounts after sept/oct 2011 at the begining just post it out fast as possible and ask for feedback that releases the payment also , or 14-28 days without feedback its a pain but stops people stealing and withdrawing to a vcc quickly before it all goes down.

ebay says they will give you the money once item shows as delivered which in my cases it does as all of the items have tracking info and this did not help me. I t was terrible to see all this money just sitting there and I kept getting emails: This item needs to be shipped hated it.
Then you get a little bit of money then another little bit and so on.
Most of the items have dates by them that show when the money will be released for you but it is nowhere close to 14 days. more like 30 even with delivered marked right on the tracking page.

yes same as mine all 14-28 days ,feedback only way so im trying to get it out asap.I have a limited company on ebay also and do 1000s of items a month generating quick feedback, what i found for the stealth accs is send the reminder feedback card which i send for the business in the package and its made a massive effect on the money getting released due to quicker feedback.

i have just checked and my oldest steslth account was registered at the begining of october, what will apply to this account, the new hold? or not?

yeah you will see straight away as when you got to list they will ask you to accept some terms, also in the listing part you cannot deselect paypal in older accounts you can , so this is when you know if its got the hold or not.I mean some of mine i dont accept paypal at all just bank.
The new ones all are held from september 2011 onwards.

Raising my old topic from the dead. Now that some time has passed, anything changed? Or just same ****, different day ? Does anyone know what is the situation with selling on ebay.fr lets say, do they have holds? I have to start selling again, but I am not sure where it is best to start.

eBay.de put this method in the trashbin. It was only live for a few months. They got a complaint from the BAFIN they could not hold money like this, because they are not an official bank. So now it´s just like in other countries.
