Approaching £1900 limit but shouldn't have a limit?
Evening guys,
A couple of weeks ago I purchased somebodies established ebay/paypal account from them and all has been going well with no problems at all.
Anyway, I've logged into paypal today and got this usual message stating I'm approaching my £1900 limit: You have received £1,650 or more in total payments to your PayPal account in this calendar year and are therefore approaching our annual receiving limit of £1,900. PayPal is required by law to comply with European Union Anti-Money Laundering regulations by collecting information from customers when they receive more than £1,900 in total payments within a calendar year. Please go to the Resolution Centre for more information on what you need to do.
I've followed all the steps in the resolution center needed to remove limits.
The very last one 'Confirm your personal information' is normally the one that causes people problems but as this is not a stealth account and is in a real persons name I just entered all the right info (his date of birth, address etc...) and hooray got the message:
CONGRATULATIONS! WE HAVE CONFIRMED YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!
So I thought that would be it, no more limits. However, the £1900 limit is still showing eventhough ALL the steps to remove limits are ticked.
When will the £1900 limit disappear? will it automatically go as soon as I hit the £1900?
I'm only about £150 away and to be honest I'm dreading hitting the limit incase they limit my account
Many thanks
