Ebay upped my limits from 10 to 12 after calling lol

so I called and ebay decided to up my listings from 10 to 12 items per month, account is almost 4 months old, perfect feedback etc. was thinking about ID Verify as this is an account in my spouses name with her parents address where she used to live, would this be wise to do as docs would not be a problem and I could use the limit increase, I have 4 other stealth accounts all 10 / 1000 still after 3 months

Having family/friends names ain't recommended at all anymore!!

It's best to go all stealth and let the accoutns age aswell - perform well - dispatch fast - sooner or later you will get higher limits automatically.

NO that sucks though, I mean it's 4 years old already I would think the limits would have been unlimited by now just because of how aged the account is. That's how mine worked, all my accounts pre-2009 are unlimited.

Make sure you sell to the limit on those 10/$1000 accounts and have good scores, they will raise with enough time.

I think you misread - he said 4 months not 4 years lol if it was 4 years with 12 limit oh gosh i would quit e/b for good!!

my wife called since it is in a womans name and I told her what to say etc. and the ebay rep told her the best they could do was the 12 items lol and the rep just asked very very basic questions my wife was able to answer, I have 4 other stealth accounts aging so will use those as well

one of my colleagues sells on ebay also

has real accounts with over 30,000 feedback

he created a new linked account to sell a different range of products

was limited to 100 then 1000 items within a month

now has 1000 feedback on the secont account and in perfect order

ebay have told him on two occasions and 2 different people that his limits on the second account will NEVER EVER be released and he will be limited to 1000 items indefintitely

but yeah 1000 items is pretty good for most people but he selss a particular range of items where there are many variations of each product so one listing would then become 20 or so

on a positive note my spouse has no idea how ebay really works she was asked questions by the agent and was able to answer them all and the agent was not able to catch on very basic basic questions
