I have 5 basic accounts and 1 savings account at Barclays. All opened the same day, and they seemed willing to let me open more...

WTF??!! It was Amazon, but from an account that's been dead for a year

I've got 3 with RBS and 3 with Natwest. It's so easy to open basic accounts with either of them if you already have one.
