Default how long to build up ebay selling limits

Hi guys,

How long does it take to build up the selling limits?

I have had my account for nearly 1 month now, i have a limit on the amount I can sell its 25 items and £750.

Now I am in no rush to sell more then that as I want a strong selling account, ideally not multiple.

I have purposely listed 25 items and £670 ish in the first month most sold, if I list close to my limits every month (i can do that easy as i have plenty of stock) how long would it take until the limits are removed?

There is I'm afraid no definite answer

There are so many variables at play here

What you are selling - I'm guessing motor parts

Feedback

DSRs

Do you use tracking?

Is your Paypal account verified and all limits lifted

If that's all good you should progress to 100 items fairly quickly

After that if you maintain all good metrics and keep bouncing off the limits it is likely to increase every month

Opinions are divided on calling them to increase limits. I have done that and I have also just allowed generic growth

I tend to subscribe to the view that you should avoid calling Ebay at all costs - but that's your shout ultimately

Best of luck with it

Thanks mate,

Yeh its all car parts really, everything is legit above board, some parts imported from china but they are custom parts we have made nothing is copys etc.

at the moment I have 4 feedback on this account 100% but waiting for 7 more at the moment...

The paypal is verified but I have not yet raised the limits, being stealth i need to get someone to make some ID for me, theres a guy on here who will do it so I was going to do it next week.

I have had a few stealth accounts before and got caught, always my fault getting complacent so this time I am being extra extra carefull

Also remember to log your IP address even if you have one account as never know when you will need another. Create a spread sheet or something to suit you..............
