Default CC check on a frozen stealth account

I had an account that was banned. Over $1000 was due. I waited the 90 days and got the email that they were sending the money. I just noticed on the gift card that I used for the account that it looks like they did the $1.00 test charge on the card before sending the money.

I'm not sure if the charge is something that they are doing to make sure it is a real account or not. I have another account coming up to the 90 days and I know that the gift card used for that one has a 0 balance.

Has anyone else noticed this with the frozen Amazon accounts?

I wonder if I should add a valid CC to the next account so that the deposit will go through. I wonder if you can even change the CC on the account after it is frozen. I know they did not delete the account. I was just on it.

Been reported on the forum months ago to ensure funds are on any card associated with amazon accounts.

As you can see from all the replies from the above, yeah you should lol and I won't be burning my cards either. I used to in the past.
