Exclamation Buyer just threatened me!

Hello everyone!

One of my buyers who just bought an item sent me rude threatening message, saying that if this item is not authentic I should pray to God otherwise it's all good. I got really upset and sent him an email saying that he should not threaten anyone like that, not in real life and not on the internet and that refund was on it's way because I don't need his money. Is there any way for me to contact eBay to report him for threatening me? Will anything be done about it?

Also today there was another buyer who was asking me cancel his bid so I sent him message back explaining that it was his responsibility to cancel his own bid. I also explained how to cancel it. He kept messaging me back saying that he did not care and that i should cancel his bid. And in his last message he used WTF.

Seriously I think buyers on ebay are getting out of hand. And I blame for this eBay. People feel like that can say what they want and nothing is going to happened, not to mention the amount of non bidders or people who want to retract their bids. What is going on ?>

Ive had this before.
If you tell ebay he has threatened you, they will want you to contact them.

If he won and paid, and you know the item is authentic,
Prepare all the proof about the item before you ship it out. Get it to him and do not communicate with him any further.

In the future, If you get a buyer like that, keep it professional. They will think you are guilty of a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ item when you give them a refund and tell them you wont ship for whatever reason. Just ignore them if they become belligerent.

Hes a prick buyer and will probably leave a negative feedback regardless.
If he does, then I would take it another step and report him to ebay to have the neg removed, or leave it be. That choice is yours.

Yes, the buyers are getting wayyy out of hand lately. I expect more problems with the holidays coming around.

Thank you for your advice, cjmixers.

I didn't hold back and told him off without swearing at him. I sick and tired of some of the buyers on eBay who think that they can say and do whatever they like because they know there won't be any repercussions. Something needs to be done about the non paying bidders and all of this rudeness lately. Especially with younger buyers. I wish government stepped in about the treats and about PayPal holding our money for 21 days. I hope something will be done sooner.

The worst behaviour I experienced from buyers was when I started selling video games, never again.

Had emails from the equivalent of "angry german kid"

then do not bypass the ineffective ebay system.

Soon as you got the notice from the buyer, you forward that to ebay.

NO correspondence from you. NOTHING spoken to implicate you.

No need to engage in an exchange of words....think about it. Why say anything to 'look guilty'

Leave politics out of this. It aint going to happen

I dont want the goverment to step in into anything. The moment they step in, you can kiss all your stealth accounts good bye. When they step in, they will regulate more and more of this and that. More regulations equals more trouble in the financial world, but it depends on what type of regulations.

ever since ebay blocked option for seller to leave negative feedback to buyers they took over. Now they can do all they want and ebay will always side with buyers.

I guess back in a day ebay needed sellers to build its product base.

now there is so many sellers including huge powersellers they dont need to gain anymore.

They just want to encourage people to shop more by giving them all they want

Many aspects are like this - just wish for the sellers` options to be improved.

LoL, this is another reason why stealth is important not just on auction sites, but ANY site in general, way too many psychos out there.
