tried to call to increase selling limit on 5 accounts separately, spoke to different
csr,all insist on going through the personal information verification questions - those questions are damn personal! despite having some basic information on hand, failed all tests, on 2 accounts, they even ask what matches the middle two digit of your social security number!
after i failed, i was talking nicely with them ask if they can give me an increase, even just by 25 or 50. they said no. come back in 90 days or fax id and cc bill.
anybody succeeded recently? mind sharing your tricks?

Better to just sell up to your limits and let the accounts grow naturally. If you can't pass the personal verification questions there is no point in trying.

i tried because heard ppl on forums saying they could lift it by calling alone... well. hopefully they will not leave a note on my account saying "suspicious, no single answer matched!"

You clutched at the wrong straw.
Where accounts are borderline stealth & have sketchy info, the wiser method is to sell to your limits, be patient, and earn the increases.
ebay has changed its attitude to these 'phone-ins'. They are rarely as receptive as we would like.
I've had USA accounts with attached EIN get increased limits with a phone call. My plain little accounts were declined. I know exactly why. ebay perceived them to be not worth the risk of higher limits. Plain accounts that sold over 3 months to their limits got automatic rises.

Hi,
After trying different combinations, and in some cases even INtenionally
Trying to get a new acct closed/suspended, the only thing that seems
To work (besides of course the obvious, aging the acct),
Is to open multiple BUSINESS ACCTS,
You see there is about what 40 days till Christmas, and those of us who have
Lots of inventory, and want a super ice Christmas for your kids,spouse..
Must use some shortcuts.
So, from experience I can truly say, follow the Stealth Book of Aspkins, (btw, it's cheaper than a nice lunch, and alot cheaper than a tank of gas),
But, follow Aspkins book, and use your imagination,
Create different user Ids,on your pc,
Then open multiple BUSINESS ACCTS,
The lowest business acct I have opened is 100/$5,000.
And try to get your info close..
Best of Luck!

True - and that's why making more accounts helps as well

L. | So in my understanding each and every ebay account you have opened (business account) you were provided up to 100/$5,000 right away. The only reason I am a little surprised is due to the fact that my business accounts all start of 10/1000.
Am I missing something...

L. | what do you mean " The lowest business acct I have opened is 100/$5,000", when you open new account you get 10/1000, if you can verify yourself you get 100/5000
unless you are lucky you open unlimited account once in a blue moon

Thanks.
