Selling limits are eBay-site specific now?
I just discovered something ridiculous. I have one account where I'm selling only in the UK (ebay.co.uk) since 2009, with over 2000 positive feedbacks, 3 neutrals and no negatives - ever. The account has very high limits, if any. I've listed 400+ items at one time and never got a limit message.
Today, I tried to list a few items on ebay.com and was stopped on item number 21 with a message saying that I had reached my selling limit for this month. What the ..? I contacted eBay and they responded back saying that because I didn't have any selling experience on ebay.com, I was limited to 20 items per month for the first 3 months and that the limits would after that be adjusted automatically.
Again, what the...? Apparently eBay doesn't care if you sold thousands of items on ebay.co.uk ..selling limits are now apparently site/country-specific.
Yet, I just listed 80 more items on ebay.co.uk without problems.
Anyone else experience this?
