Giftcard that can be used anywhere

I am looking for a visa or mastercard anonymous gift card that can be used at any merchant that can pass AVS and the merchant would not be able to detect that it is a gift card.

The particular merchant I want to use it at bans gift cards. TD bank worked before but, I dont have a TD bank account anymore.

Would a Chase or any other bank issued card work?

Your plan is a bit flawed I must say - many merchants have processors that can detect gift cards these days...you could try Entropay. Unless you need the physical card.

Yes I know. For some reason TD bank issued gift cards worked. Entropay failed. AMEX gift cards and vanilla gift cards also failed.

I was thinking bank issued gift cards are different from the type of gift cards that you can buy in retail stores.

A gift card is a gift card...no matter where it comes from and most stores can detect them by their numbers.

Also, what your wanting...sounds shady as hell man.

If the bank does not allow gift cards they will close you down in a matter of time.

The 4 digits will automatically tell them it is a gift card.

You cannot hide it from them.

No nothing would work.

I did a little more research and found that the first 6 digits of a card indicates the BIN (bank identification number) also called issuer identification number.

Those digits will tell a merchant who issued the carda and the type of card. There are several online tools for free which can tell you what a merchant will see. https://www.bindb.com/bin-database.html

I used my Chase debit card and it said Debit
Bank of america debit card and it said debit
Applied Bank credit card and it said credit
AMEX SERVE card and it said prepaid
AMEX Giftcard (the ones you can buy at rite-aid) and it said prepaid
Amex Simon mall gift card and it said Credit (Bingo)
