Default Another genuine seller added to the restricted clan!

Unfortunately I have been at the receiving end of eBays disgusting treatment of its breadwinners. Account holder for 7 years with 2100+ positive feedbacks, 34 positives in the last month but 4 low shipping stars in the last 3 months... Yet ive not had feedback for 60 transactions in the last month because, as we all know, eBay is a failing monopoly... and a lot of its users wont leave feedback and another lot of its users are uneducated in the feedback system and what it can do to a decent seller, as ebay fail to inform them.

Example... Dave joins ebay to buy some goods... He buys two items, one from the one seller who ships via courier the next day, another from another seller who ships the next day with Royal Snail... Result is one seller gets the thumbs up yet the other seller seems worse than the first as Royal Snail took 3 days to deliver. The buyer has no idea what the star system is other than it asking them what they think of the sellers shipping time... Which Dave decides the first seller who used a courier is great and the seller who used Royal Snail took longer, so he leaves low marks... How would Dave know what the star system means to honest sellers... eBay never told him!

I know im not the only one here who hates eBay, ive seen a seller who joined in the 90's and he got banned for the same thing a couple of years ago, slow shipping.... A member from the start, with glowing feedback and glowing sales... Yet couldnt ship next day due to his work... They treat a member like that so bad, yet fail to educate its new buyers, so ive no expectations of getting my account back.

What I do want to know, is whats happening about it? Why is no action being taken, wheres the legal cases... eBay was created for its users, not for the Inc to get richer. Which is why im pissed at them treating us like were not important.

I just need to know what eBay is doing to its good, honest members, and why are they doing this? If I had negs for selling broken or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods, then yes BAN ME! But I havent, im a good seller with 1 neg in the last 12 months from a buyer who bought the wrong sized clothes, even though I refunded and let him keep them for someone else to try in his circle of family or friends.

Ive also just been informed that ebay are now telling buyers about sellers handling times... So why are sellers that have always provided handling times via eBays own system still being treated like scum? The star system has been around a while, sellers have been able to put 5 days handling time on their sales yet eBay dont care.... Buyers have been leaving low scores on a system that eBay havent even finished, or know what they are doing with, but they are still willing to punish honest sellers... Even though its their own system that doesnt work!

Honestly... Im lost for words at the moment, all night things have been coming into my head that annoy me... The result is that eBay and their own system is a complete failure, a system that has put sellers out of business and then rules that come forward which would have meant the sellers were in the right yet have never been reinstated...

Wheres the legal action?

eBay has pretty much ruined my life today... My family, my kids, myself... Will all suffer... Why? Because eBay has rules they dont even understand or can control themselves!

Sorry.

You have joined the list of thousands of people and businesses screwed by ebay or paypal.

You found the right place to start over and actually have a better shot at making more money and not having the hassle of eb or pp down your throat once you learn and get the idea of having multiple streams of income coming in.

Many fantastic success stories here and lots to learn.

Time to get back to selling and have no worries about eb or pp again.

Thanks Sandy... I can safely say I hate how eb. has treated myself and all the others it has screwed the lives of since the dsr system.

Another thing I have noticed is that in my eby, the sold page, there is lots of little blue lines over where the buyers feedback icon should be and the item title is now black and cannot be clicked on to take you to the page. The items that have this are for people that already left feedback and I cant find anything on ebys icon information or online...

Any ideas anyone?

Things change all the time that is why it is important be here everyday to read and post to find out about recent changes etc.

If your account is gone no need to worry about it any longer.

Time to go stealth and have multiple accounts up and running.

ebanned, don't give up hope. I was the same and now I have 5 stealth ebay/amazon account running. It's hard work but by the end of the day, I can sleep soundly knowing that ebay/amazon cannot ruin my life with their unreasonable permban. Good luck.

Thanks everyone, im afraid im still in the hate period so probably need a few more days to cool off

Its the second account ive lost, both to low dispatch ratings... Even though I always post within the times given under ebys own handling time selection!

Thankfully my good ladies account is still up and running, my accounts were registered at my parents, hers is registered at our house which we moved into recently. Therefore theres no address and no names that connect us. However I did use my account in this house, so is there anything I should to cover my tracks? Im only going to use this account to get me by for a while, I dont want to list the same stuff I was selling before so will just put bits and bobs on to keep some money coming in.

Im looking into Stealthmode... Obviously its not something I want to jump into head first, so a few weeks of revision is in need... plus any help from you guys / girls if I get stuck

honestly if you cannot ship the items the very next day or the same day then you need to either quit your job so you can or not sell. i do not understand slow whipping times. i send snail mail on everything i sell and never provide tracking. i sell thousands of items a month my shipping stars are 4.9 and 5.0.

just do whatever you can to actually ship fast. people hate to wait. speed is KEY!! if you are slow you wont be on ebay....

not to be mean...................but I agree, im the speed demon shipper. you pay..... its moving.. FAST.

I want my customer to get what they paid for ASAP.

i still can't get 5.0 stars on speed though ahaahh go figure

You need to go back to the buyers and try and get feedback removed
ask them to add a follow up like "ebay can remove this feedback" once done say you will refund them or compensate them

soon as follow up left contact ebay support and get it removed

may have to contact ebay 6=7 times as only certain staff will remove it
