Exclamation Concerns regarding ebay appls

http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-tr...ebay-apps.html

Read the above thread.

I had a question about this, not sure if anyone can answer this, I know it's a bad idea to have the app and this seems risky but it's essential for me to have it as I buy a lot of my items that I sell from ebay as well.

I am currently using the app for buying with an account that delivers to my father in laws store since my home address is suspended. I was thinking about opening another buying account only to get items shipped to my address so he doesn't have to cart stuff over everyday.

If I were to replace my phone, and get the ebay app on that phone....would it have any link to my account info by the service of the carrier?

I did use 1 sellers account on that phone. I would probably have to get a new apple ID.....it would be nice for me to be able to get one paypal buyers account that I can add all these debit cards I'm getting from these different banks to have access to all my funds in one place to spend. Thx
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

Only thing essential is your wanting to have your own way and endanger your accounts for the sake of the ebay app.

Why are any of us bothering to advise the ebay app is trouble?

Do not ask to be enabled to be silly.

I am trying to not endanger myself and of course I want my way.....I just wanted to know if switching to a new phone would remove any potential links, not whether I should use the app... I understand why the app is dangerous....I don't need to be told that its dangerous.

I have the wifi off so it can't detect my home IP and I only used it for one account....I no longer want that account on my phone and wanted to use a new buyers account only on the app. I will purchase a new phone to do this if infact getting a new phone would remove any links.

EBay app should not even be considered when so many other straight options exist.

So use it at your own risk. There are enough people advising you against it, but ultimately the decision is yours.

No one here is going to talk you out of it if you have your mind set on using it.

Good luck w/ your accounts afterwards.
