Activity: 0% Longevity: 63% | | Laptop or Kindle? Dial-up modem?
Hi all. New to this forum - just bought the Amazon Ghost. I've been searching for answers to these newbie questions but haven't found anything satisfactory...so please, no suggestions to read and search the forums
From skimming through the book, I think my best option is to get a second computer/mobile device, since I'm not that computer savvy. From researching, I like the Amazon Kindle. Can I use this to access my Amazon, eBay & PayPal stealth accounts? I use Comcast as my IP, which has WiFi capability. My concern is that it goes through the same modem/router.
Would I be better off with a cheap laptop and dial-up modem? I'm trying to keep costs down.
Any help, suggestions much appreciated!
Thanks,
Bob G. (beeg)

You can do dial-up IF you can stand slow loadup times and such...I use it on the regular and it works well for Amazon

Search the Forum, and instead of skimming through the book....you should take time to actually read it.

Jeez, never expected this kind of arrogance outside of eBay or PayPal. What's up with the attitude?

My worry is the mention of skimming thro' the book.
The amazon beast is very hard to tame.
In depth reading of both book and forum is needed to start again in stealth.
amazon can then be beaten. | | The Following User Says Thank You to GreenBean For This Useful Post: | | |

Thanks,
Bob G. (beeg) | given a lack of posts on KINDLE, and given the issue of amazon being its parent, I would avoid its use for stealth.
Searched thro' some older notes, Bob. Here's a thread I would like you to keep to understand this game. http://www.aspkin.com/forums/amazon-...s-deleted.html
Note the post by aspkin.
Keep in mind amazon track 'deeply'. This is just my.2cents I would look at using whatever means I can to be a new person on amazon.
Dial-up works. It is slow.
Did you ever say why you got suspended?
Hope this helps for your new start.

Activity: 0% Longevity: 63% | | Re: Laptop or Kindle? Dial-up modem? Greenie, thanks for the info - very helpful indeed. I never realized how aggressive Amazon was in this regard. Like aspkin eluded to in the thread, I figured I was going against a system, not real people. I wonder if those guys are here on the forum? Yikes!
In my initial post I should have said that I planned on reading the book in full but what caught my attention in skimming through it is that one of my first priorities should be figuring out what platform to use in establishing a stealth account. I have a pretty good grasp on some of the other factors, even though I still have a lot to learn.
It appears a laptop with dial-up might be best for me. I can live with the slow speed (thanks rsot for the heads-up).
Again, much appreciated!

Eventually I was informed that even though Amazon had these existing listings, it was against policy to actually sell these items. I was greedy and didn't pay any attention. I'm sure you know the rest.
I figured that after all these years, with a new computer, new address, phone, bank, etc. I would be able to open a new seller's account. Wrong. Since joining this forum I'm getting a better grasp as to what went wrong. You guys/gals are terrific!
Thanks
