paypal removed bank account

paypal removed my bank account its with barclays saving account

i went to add my bank account but got this

The account you've entered needs an additional review before we can proceed. Please add a different bank account. If you'd still like to use this bank account, please contact Customer Service.

they removed the bank on the 25th march

i have a new bank but im not sure if i should link it

stealth account around 3 months old

any help please

Why did the bank account get removed? Usually its because they try to take funds form your bank account and cannot due to it being a savers.

Only way to readd the account if that is the case is to do as PayPal say and give them a ring

Simple solution is to get a different current bank account, no? Seems logical

yh they try to take funds when they shouldnt of have and the other account is a cash card would that be ok

Ideally you need a basic or current account. Whatever you go for do not leave yourself in a position where Paypal are taking money from your bank account as it will reveal the name on the account.

Um, if you added a bank account for using paypal YOU gave paypal the OK to do what they are doing.

ok thanks i will get a basic account and ebay was trying to take there fees but the money was on hold 21 days, so its ok to withdraw but not let paypal take money out

Pp cant take fees/money from payment on 21 day hold so just wait it out

Pay your fees with a VCC to avoid them attempting to take money from the bank.

You need to be on the ball with this all the time with all your accounts. Your mistake has potentially cost you a usable bank account.
