Paypal removed bank account...

Hey all,
I am currently using a grandparents account on ebay/paypal. The account is about 9 years old and a lot was sold on it in the early years. So i was jus selling a few items non vero mainly my old house stuff.

I got an email today saying the bank account had been removed due to a payment transfer being declined due to the direct debit being questioned. This was my grandparents own account that had been on the account since the start,
Called up bank said there was no direct debit for paypal so i am at a loss as to what to do now?

Any advice? I have emailed, Paypal has tried to call but my grandparent is out until after six but going to call once they are in?

I have used their comp/ip etc so no chance of linking?

i just re-add the same account if its removed for a payment fail

never been a problem for me

im assuming it was declined for no funds in the bank acc ?

No it failed as the bank (rbs) was questiong the direct debit?

when was the last time you withdrew to that bank account,has it been inactive for all these years or?

Head to the branch and make a deposit to reactivate it.
