Safest way to pay eBay fees?

So i just accessed an old account, and i had deleted or cancelled the direct payment link with paypal for fees awhile back as i did not wish for them to take automatically.

Anyway, i just went to list some thing and it asked me to link the pp again or set up direct debit etc.

I went to set it up via dd on pp, and it said somehting about dd already linked etc, but then it kept telling me to set it up (system error)

Anyway, what is best way around doing this? as in setting up a payment for fees etc?

Try adding a Vcc if a bank account doesn't work.
