Wondering what people's experiences are with receiving a non-ebay payment on a new Paypal account. Generally I tend to age the accounts for a month or so, but sometimes I don't wait that long and it's ok

If it's fully verified, a lot of the time money is received without holds.

...can you give an idea of the ammount you are talking about? I guess it is a crucial factor.

Yeah i know mostly without holds, but i wondering if the account is one week old for example, maybe there could be holds

I receive non-eB payments from the get go - I make sure pp is verified and used BEFORE going on eb

About £220, usually i like to keep payments on new accounts at about £100 at first
